Responsibilities
- Define reference architectures and reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns for Azure workloads.
- Define configuration-as-code patterns for Microsoft 365.
- Set standards for CI/CD, GitOps, secret rotation, and image registry strategy.
- Design observability and operational tooling for delivery teams.
- Review workloads, including the AI platform, against platform and security standards.
- Partner with engineers to implement hands-on, practical architecture.
- Apply an AI-first approach using agentic AI tooling for building and delivery.
- Maintain architecture and technical documentation.
- Work in an iterative, board-tracked flow with peer code review.
Requirements
- Hands-on solution or platform architecture experience on Azure with a strong infrastructure-as-code focus in a large corporation or organisation.
- Hands-on engineering experience with the ability to write and review infrastructure code.
- Deep knowledge of AKS, networking, identity, and Azure security patterns.
- Experience defining CI/CD and GitOps standards for multiple teams.
- Ability to balance standardisation with enabling delivery teams.
- Ability to challenge technical decisions and propose future-proof solutions.
- Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Good English language skills are mandatory.
