Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications using Python, FastAPI, Django, Flask, and React.
- Architect and build cloud-native Azure solutions using App Services, Functions, AKS, Event Grid, Service Bus, and Storage.
- Design and implement scalable microservices-based, distributed, and event-driven architectures.
- Apply non-blocking and asynchronous programming paradigms to improve system performance.
- Drive code reviews, design reviews, testing standards, technical decisions, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Cloud Ops, and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases.
- Troubleshoot complex full-stack issues and guide teams in resolving them.
- Mentor engineers and conduct technical hiring assessments.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional software development experience focused on full-stack engineering.
- At least 4 years of hands-on React experience and familiarity with modern JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems.
- Deep expertise with Python frameworks, especially FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
- Strong experience designing and building microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and event brokers such as Kafka, Azure Event Hub, RabbitMQ, and Service Bus.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Azure.
- Knowledge of async/await and asyncio and other non-blocking programming approaches.
- Experience with unit testing, mock frameworks, and integration testing.
- Understanding of database design, caching, REST APIs, containerization, orchestration, API gateways, service mesh, and cloud networking.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or AKS, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree or a relevant combination of work and education.
