Responsibilities
- Design and architect SRE domains and secure, scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure as code.
- Build and automate CI/CD stacks while driving continuous delivery, deployment, and DevOps adoption across development and QA teams.
- Analyze production metrics to improve reliability, scalability, performance, utilization, and cost efficiency.
- Lead observability initiatives spanning logs, metrics, service meshes, and tracing.
- Implement platform security controls including WAF protection, vulnerability and patch management, security agents, and least-privilege RBAC.
- Build and execute disaster recovery plans and serve as a key stakeholder during incident response.
- Operate and improve 24x7 production systems and their incident management processes.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of experience in production engineering, site reliability, or related roles.
- Hands-on automation experience with at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP; cloud certifications are preferred.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Linux, with Python scripting or programming proficiency.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and toolchains such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitOps.
- Knowledge of Postgres, MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, and Kafka is preferred or advantageous.
- Exposure to Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Jaeger, New Relic, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
- Proven experience with production reliability, scalability, performance systems, 24x7 production environments, ticketing and incident management systems, vulnerability management, and compliance.
