Responsibilities
- Review and validate product and customer-project requirements for completeness, gaps, risks, and traceability.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test scripts, automated tests, regression tests, and acceptance tests.
- Prepare and manage complex test environments and test data conditions.
- Manage validation test phases, including monitoring testers, logging defects, tracking issues, and coordinating corrective action.
- Analyze defects functionally and technically before assigning them to development teams.
- Convert manual tests into automated tests using appropriate frameworks.
- Perform performance, load, stress, and end-to-end solution testing and analyze platform and application quality metrics.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, product management, customers, vendors, Sales, and Support to resolve testing issues.
- Provide product sizing support to Sales for potential customers using supported hardware platforms.
- Maintain test documentation and comply with corporate policies and business-conduct requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in software testing.
- At least 2 years of quality engineering and/or systems testing experience.
- Experience with test automation and test development.
- C1-level English proficiency.
- Understanding and experience with platform and operating-system architecture.
- Experience with test-management and defect-management tools is preferred.
- Relevant software-quality certification is preferred.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in Colombia.
