Responsibilities
- Own automation testing and maintain automated regression test suites and their environments.
- Analyze requirements, create detailed test plans and test cases, and sign off manually scripted test cases.
- Automate test scenarios using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Execute functional, nonfunctional, integration, regression, system, smoke, sanity, and compatibility testing.
- Review product design documentation and pull requests for correctness, clarity, and verifiability.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers on requirements, system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements.
- Create test tools, build scripts, server configurations, test reports, procedures, and automation metrics.
- Diagnose, report, track, and manage defects and monitor software performance after implementation.
- Document the automated QA framework and support continuity, risk management, and production fixture software verification.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the software development life cycle.
- At least 2 years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
- At least 3 years of test automation experience with Selenium, Jasmine, POM, and Cucumber.
- Bachelor's degree, BTEC, or equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of computer programming and software development.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests.
- Strong communication, creative thinking, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
- ISTQB/ISEB certification is preferred.
- Certification in Java, Spring, or AWS technologies is preferred.
- Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA is nice to have.
