Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with demanding reliability and performance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture, technology direction, platform roadmaps, and shared-services strategy.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and product leaders to deliver cloud-based solutions.
- Mentor engineering community members and senior engineers while driving professional development.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, observability practices, and reliability practices across teams.
- Lead architectural design reviews, cross-functional engineering efforts, and large-scale technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience includes 9+ years coding in multiple languages, 5+ years with open source frameworks and front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, and experience creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs.
- Preferred qualifications include database, cloud, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, observability, reliability, and technical mentorship experience.
- Experience influencing technology strategy, using modern AI-based coding tools and interactive AI tooling, leading architectural reviews, and establishing technical standards is preferred.
