Responsibilities
- Design and implement customer-facing digital applications for Huntington’s commercial customers.
- Develop web user interfaces and portal solutions using React, Angular, Java, and REST APIs.
- Write application code and unit tests, and build reusable code and libraries.
- Translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into application code.
- Review code and participate in architecture and design for Rich Internet Applications.
- Diagnose complex production and technical issues involving performance, availability, integrations, databases, middleware, and networks.
- Maintain design documentation, development standards, onboarding procedures, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Design APIs integrating UI applications with Bigtable using Kafka queues and GCP Pub/Sub.
- Establish Azure and Jenkins pipelines for frontend and API code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of application development experience.
- Experience with Angular, React, Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, microservices, SOAP and/or REST services, and GCP.
- Experience working in a multiplatform environment is preferred.
- Ability to balance development and support responsibilities is preferred.
- Experience working on projects involving business segments is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, interpersonal, customer service, and collaboration skills.
