Base Salary
$200k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale security-by-default capabilities for Snowflake products.
- Develop intelligent security platforms using AI/ML for threat detection.
- Build real-time detection and prevention systems against account compromise and data exfiltration.
- Create monitoring capabilities to detect suspicious account activity and generate insights.
- Collaborate with Security teams and Engineering to define security strategy.
- Set standards for system design, code quality, and scalable security architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience with languages like JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++, or Go.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar for building detections and data pipelines.
- Experience in designing and maintaining security-focused software solutions.
- Ability to lead projects independently and set technical direction.
