Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Build repeatable automated testing processes that validate high-quality releases.
- Perform regression, functional, security, integration, performance, stress, and manual testing.
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Identify functional and non-functional issues and develop resolutions.
- Track defects and conduct regression testing after fixes are implemented.
- Plan and coordinate testing activities across cross-functional teams.
- Conduct pre-launch testing to verify software functionality and client requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in automation testing and testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, jMeter, and Appium.
- Expertise testing distributed and scalable web and mobile applications.
- Experience with stress, performance, and security testing.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with continuous integration systems.
- Basic knowledge of Java, Groovy, and shell scripting.
- Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, decision-making, and deadline-management skills.
