Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for critical workflows and regression scenarios.
- Execute REST API testing covering requests, responses, integrations, error handling, and system behavior.
- Identify, document, reproduce, track, and validate defects with clear evidence and actionable information.
- Participate in defect triage and support issue prioritization based on impact, severity, and release risk.
- Support beta testing, user-feedback validation, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing through final validation and sign-off.
- Collaborate with developers, Product teams, and stakeholders and report testing status, risks, defects, and blockers.
- Maintain testing documentation and independently manage assigned testing deliverables within the QA strategy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing, including web application testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with functional, regression, and automated testing of web applications.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or a comparable automation framework.
- Hands-on experience testing REST APIs, including requests, responses, status codes, error scenarios, and integrations.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, regression suites, and managing defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Professional English proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing and WCAG standards is a plus.
- Experience with System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, complex integrations, responsive and cross-browser applications, beta releases, distributed Agile/Scrum teams, CI/CD-integrated testing, or SQL and database validation is a plus.
