Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build core platform systems including data pipelines and API infrastructure.
- Design scalable data models and storage strategies for CRM workflows.
- Establish observability, monitoring, and performance standards.
- Create platform standards for API patterns and deployment practices.
- Own critical technical decisions regarding infrastructure and architecture.
- Partner with founders on technical strategy and execution.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building distributed systems and platform infrastructure.
- Deep expertise with Postgres, event streaming (Kafka), and queue systems.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with some React/Next.js experience.
- Experience building public APIs, SDKs, or developer tooling.
- Pragmatic decision-making balancing technical excellence with business impact.
- Strong operational instincts for monitoring and incident response.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts.
- Startup experience preferred, especially in building 0-to-1 products.
- Bonus: Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or vector databases.
- Bonus: Open source contributions or technical writing demonstrating expertise.
