Responsibilities
- Design and implement production-grade backend services and UI features across the lending platform.
- Own technical decisions concerning delivery, system health, scalability, maintainability, and operational readiness.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, background services, and event-driven integrations.
- Write secure, clean, testable code and apply SOLID principles, async/await correctness, and Entity Framework Core best practices.
- Collaborate with product management, UX design, and quality engineering from concept through delivery.
- Participate in architectural discussions, design reviews, and technical documentation including ADRs.
- Use GitHub Copilot and AI agents to generate code, scaffold tests, review pull requests, and identify defects.
- Mentor engineers and raise technical standards through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of professional software development experience covering architecture and implementation.
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and Angular for full-stack development.
- Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and distributed, event-driven systems.
- Deep understanding of secure coding, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Entity Framework Core query optimization, change tracking, and migration management.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud services.
- Experience authoring and reviewing code with emphasis on quality, security, and maintainability.
- Ability to use AI-assisted engineering tools daily and critically evaluate AI-generated output.
- Financial services or regulated-industry experience is preferred.
