Responsibilities
- Drive software architecture and delivery for high-impact, complex initiatives.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available software solutions.
- Establish and refine software engineering standards, practices, and governance mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, training, design reviews, and knowledge sharing for engineers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, build prototypes, and contribute to long-term technical goals and plans.
- Coordinate and delegate technical work across teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, and design principles.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and security practices.
- Preferred: advanced degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred: Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or equivalent certification.
- Preferred: expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, container orchestration, and DevOps.
- Preferred: familiarity with Agile frameworks, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and enterprise innovation management.
