Responsibilities
- Build and maintain infrastructure for production ML model hosting, serving, deployment, and monitoring.
- Contribute to ML-powered features for content tagging, ranking, clustering, and personalization.
- Develop well-scoped ML infrastructure components from concept through production with guidance from senior engineers.
- Collaborate with modeling, product, data science, and platform teams to define requirements and deliver reliable, low-latency systems.
- Build or contribute to data pipelines for A/B test analysis and training dataset creation.
- Participate in architectural discussions and help evaluate latency, cost, scalability, and serving-efficiency trade-offs.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of industry experience in machine learning infrastructure or software engineering with exposure to ML systems.
- MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience in the domain.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python with an interest in production serving systems.
- Experience contributing to model serving, deployment pipelines, or feature delivery systems.
- Exposure to deploying ML models on AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience building or contributing to data pipelines using tools such as Apache Spark.
- Preferred experience with RAG concepts, inference optimization, embedding pipeline infrastructure, vector stores, personalization, recommendation systems, or AI-powered features.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate cross-functionally.
