Responsibilities
- Build machine learning and generative AI technologies at scale to improve Apple Maps search quality.
- Deliver end-user-facing machine learning-driven products.
- Apply machine learning and natural language processing techniques including classification, feature engineering, information extraction, clustering, semi-supervised learning, topic modeling, and ranking.
- Work independently and collaboratively in small teams while maintaining data accuracy and output quality.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
- At least 2 years of industry experience.
- Proven record delivering end-user-facing machine learning-driven products.
- Strong programming experience in Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Preferred: Ph.D. in computer science or an equivalent field.
- Preferred: expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, modern machine learning mathematics, linear algebra, statistics, and big data processing.
- Preferred: prior experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
