Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to improve developer experience and workflows.
- Set CI/CD and observability standards for software development.
- Rethink local development workflows and incident response strategies.
- Define the integration of AI-assisted workflows in the development loop.
- Collaborate with engineers across product and data teams to enhance developer velocity.
- Own and track metrics related to developer velocity and reliability.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in backend, infrastructure, or developer experience.
- Strong developer empathy and a passion for improving workflows.
- Proven ability to lead large, ambiguous projects with cross-team impact.
- Experience with modern AI tooling to improve developer velocity.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, particularly GCP or similar.
- Strong debugging and systems-thinking skills with experience in scaling production systems.
- Experience building internal developer platforms in enterprise SaaS environments is a plus.
