Responsibilities

Architect, build, deploy, and maintain redundant, resilient, scalable, self-sustaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
Design, build, and maintain production Kubernetes infrastructure, including clusters, namespaces, and deployments.
Develop infrastructure as code, automation, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, alerts, deployments, and customer environments.
Work directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate features and enhancements.
Implement and maintain operational compliance and security practices.
Train and mentor junior DevOps engineers and new team members.

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
At least 4 years of experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab, or similar.
Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Rancher, or similar tools.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible and container technologies such as Docker or Docker Compose.
Scripting experience with Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or JavaScript as needed.
Hands-on experience architecting AWS environments and designing CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
Experience creating Docker images, managing Docker registries, and configuring Docker runtime environments.
Familiarity with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and the ELK stack for monitoring and logging.
Strong knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud-native infrastructure security.
Effective English communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a project team.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator certifications are preferred.

The position is located in Islamabad and follows 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central Time, US working hours.
