Responsibilities
- Create and maintain moderate- to highly-complex data infrastructure, reporting, and application solutions.
- Define requirements, design solutions, develop applications, test systems, debug programs, and support the full project lifecycle.
- Develop and deploy front-end and back-end full-stack web applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Analyze end-user data needs and build user-oriented solutions that integrate with existing applications.
- Develop functional unit tests and support testing automation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and participate in major upgrades to systems, platforms, and software.
- Maintain work documentation, suggest improvements, and follow approved team changes.
- Coach junior developers in full-stack application design, development, and deployment.
- Collaborate with internal business teams, provide backup support, and assist with team planning and growth strategy.
- Execute applicable InfoSec compliance requirements and provide business-functionality training to end users.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable business/technical experience.
- At least 4–7 years of application development experience involving programming, data management, collection, modeling, and interpretation across complex datasets.
- Experience with .NET, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React, jQuery, LESS, server-side programming, and modern front-end frameworks and state-management libraries.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and working with SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, and Varnish.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure, distributed systems, version control, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing strategies, Enterprise Integration Patterns, Service-Oriented Architecture, and microservices.
- Ideally, experience with stream processing, event-driven architecture, messaging protocols, and data engineering.
- Ability to learn new engineering tools, languages, and frameworks quickly and work independently or as part of a broader team.
- Ability to coach more junior developers and make decisions with minimal supervision.
