Responsibilities
- Work with a mentor and a 5–7 person Platform team to drive an internship project from design through production delivery.
- Select, test, integrate, or migrate observability tools including Prometheus, Graphite, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.
- Build or improve data processing, distributed-system, continuous-deployment, reliability, streaming, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Apply engineering best practices and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops.
- Build and ship quality code that may affect millions of users.
Requirements
- Be in the final year of study in System Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Have an interest in developing web-based applications and working in a Linux environment.
- Have experience with object-oriented programming.
- Demonstrate problem-solving, creativity, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Be fluent in English.
