Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with product and engineering teams to uncover critical challenges.
- Design and build AI prototypes to demonstrate value.
- Own the end-to-end development of bespoke AI tools.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into a tangible AI roadmap.
- Lead and mentor other engineers in complex feature development.
- Identify limits of internal systems and external AI platforms to build enhancements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience building and deploying production-ready GenAI models.
- Practical experience with RAG systems and vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and big data frameworks like Spark or Hadoop.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and MLOps principles.
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex data insights.
- Innovative mindset with a 'launch fast and iterate' approach.
