
Quant Developer / Quant Research Intern - 2026/2027

- Build market or reference data ingestion systems with point-in-time correctness and as-of-date accuracy.
- Build and validate candidate factors or risk models with emphasis on robustness and out-of-sample validity.
- Develop tooling for promoting research signals to production through configuration rather than rewriting.
- Contribute to the backtesting and simulation engine, feature and signal store, or portfolio optimizer.
- Work directly with the quant team on a production component of the proprietary investment platform.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong programming ability in Python; C++, Rust, or another programming language is a plus.
- Solid fundamentals in statistics and/or machine learning.
- Evidence of building substantial technical work through research, open source, competitive programming, Kaggle, olympiads, or personal projects.
- Exposure to markets or investing, data engineering, orchestration tools such as Dagster or Prefect, or cloud platforms such as Azure is preferred.
- Open to students graduating from December 2026 through Summer 2028; PhD candidates with later graduation dates may also be considered.
- Must have US work authorization or the ability to use OPT during the internship.
