Base Salary

$200k - $275k/yr

Responsibilities

Own large portions of the application and drive major features from conception through delivery.
Lead technical decision-making and ensure engineering work aligns with business priorities.
Develop and mentor a high-performing team while maintaining high standards for technical execution.
Design, build, ship, and iterate on robust, scalable, well-tested software components.
Architect and scale distributed systems, including backend systems that ingest billions of data points.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, design, deployment teams, engineers, and customers.

Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
Professional or open-source experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software components.
Ability to write robust, well-tested, and well-designed code frequently deployed to users.
Strong understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems.
Strong modern software development practices and comfort navigating large codebases.
Located in San Francisco, CA and open to working in the office.
