Responsibilities
- Build and maintain application and system features with international development teams.
- Design and develop backend solutions for complex project environments and transformational programs.
- Develop frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Build RESTful APIs using Java with Spring Boot and Spring Security or Node.js with Express and TypeScript.
- Develop containerized services and cloud-native microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Write robust unit and integration tests covering edge cases and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and security mechanisms.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA teams, and other cross-functional partners.
- Participate in developer guilds and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience designing and developing backend solutions.
- Experience with Angular, especially Angular 20+ and signals, and TypeScript.
- Fluency in Java or Node.js with Express and TypeScript for RESTful API development.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, or equivalent Node.js backend development.
- Experience building containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes and/or cloud-native microservices.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Working knowledge of Maven, Webpack, Postman, OpenAPI specifications, and unit or integration testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with OAuth2 flows and secure API practices.
- Experience with Git, VSCode, Mac, and Windows.
- Ability to understand complex architectures independently and work proactively in an agile environment.
