Responsibilities
- Deliver second-line support for manufacturing and laboratory platforms, handling incidents, service requests, and user queries.
- Troubleshoot, debug, resolve, escalate, and document system issues and corrective or preventive actions.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patches, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and integration work.
- Collaborate with Production, GQO, QA, IT, system owners, business users, and support teams on issue resolution and application delivery projects.
- Write maintainable code, document technical solutions and modifications, provide user training, and recommend vendor software improvements.
- Participate in task estimation, planning, continuous improvement, agile project delivery, and on-call support for urgent production issues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT application support, focused on regulatory and Quality Solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Critical Manufacturing System, Maximo CMMS, or Delmia Apriso is preferred.
- Experience supporting and maintaining manufacturing or laboratory platforms and resolving software and system issues in manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows, database technologies such as SQL, scripting, and shop-floor equipment integrations.
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworks, software development methodologies, version control systems, and programming languages relevant to MES systems.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, software development, information technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees, ITIL 4, GMP, and database technology certifications or experience are advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, documentation, collaboration, and user-training skills, with willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
