Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack applications supporting Fidelity’s marketing technology programs.
- Own features from concept through deployment in a highly distributed environment.
- Design scalable, secure, reliable, maintainable, and high-performing software architectures.
- Coordinate user requirements, schedules, activities, design reviews, and technical initiatives.
- Troubleshoot development and production issues across multiple environments.
- Support QA, product releases, deployment, installation, and post-installation activities.
- Define engineering standards, design principles, reusable frameworks, and solution patterns.
- Provide technical direction, mentor engineers, and promote knowledge sharing.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, REST API development, microservices, SOAP services, and Spring Boot.
- Proficiency with Angular, Vue, Node.js, and LWC.
- Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, serverless architecture, AWS Lambda, and Informatica.
- Familiarity with Drools and business rules management systems.
- Experience with Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, and Protractor.
- Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, select technologies, and lead architecture and design decisions.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to mentoring engineers and promoting knowledge sharing.
- Graduate certification, if any, is noted in the posting.
