Responsibilities

  • Architect the AI core of WSCAD’s engineering platform.
  • Design AI-native workflows involving reasoning, rule interpretation, validation, constraint solving, and optimization.
  • Bridge AI, software architecture, and engineering domain knowledge across product, platform, and electrical engineering teams.
  • Set technical direction for AI and mentor engineers.
  • Integrate state-of-the-art AI approaches that deliver real engineering value.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering background with experience building production-grade systems rather than only prototypes.
  • Experience with AI system design, including applied machine learning, AI systems engineering, constraint solving or optimization, symbolic and statistical AI, or knowledge representation and reasoning.
  • Ability to design platforms where AI is a core component.
  • Experience with data flows, model lifecycle, validation, explainability, and production reliability.
  • Ability to translate engineering domain logic into robust system behavior.
  • Experience with engineering or industrial software such as CAD, CAE, PLM, automation, or digital twins is preferred.
  • Exposure to rule-based systems, engineering constraints, or safety-critical environments is preferred.
