Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical direction of SIXT’s MLOps/LLMOps Platform.
- Make build-versus-buy decisions and remain hands-on with prototyping, debugging production incidents, and implementation.
- Own the platform vision, roadmap, backlog, prioritization, tradeoffs, and delivered value.
- Review code and designs and maintain engineering quality.
- Run stand-ups, planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives while facilitating technical decisions.
- Represent platform users, translate their needs into capabilities, and drive adoption.
- Manage dependencies and risks and align international stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping production software, ideally using Python and infrastructure-as-code.
- Ability to design and evaluate platform architectures, read unfamiliar codebases, review pull requests, and contribute fixes or prototypes.
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Product Owner, or Engineering Lead with real backlog and roadmap ownership.
- Solid understanding of ML and LLM lifecycles and platform engineering, sufficient to make technical prioritization decisions.
- Thoughtful use of AI-assisted development tools with an emphasis on reviewability, reliability, and usefulness.
- Experience with AWS, SageMaker, Bedrock, Docker, Kubernetes, LLM gateways, RAG, or agentic frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain is preferred.
- Clear communication and influence in an international environment.
- Fluency in English.
