Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and iterate a toolchain combining traditional automation and productivity tools with spec-driven design and agentic working.
- Test automation and AI solutions with IT and Security, gather feedback, and improve the platform.
- Enable early adopter teams and scale automation and AI platforms across departments.
- Drive IT operations toward an all-encompassing infrastructure-as-code model through hands-on architecture and design.
- Contribute to the IT and Security operating model as teams move toward build-not-buy practices.
- Mentor and develop the IT engineering team and broader departments through skills transfer and technical guidance.
- Advocate for shared automation and AI platforms and drive cross-departmental adoption.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience operating at Staff Engineer level, ideally in an established, successful, cloud-native hypergrowth SaaS environment.
- Hands-on coding and systems-thinking experience, ideally from a platform or SRE team.
- A track record of moving AI-native workflows from experimental prompts to robust, production-grade automated workflows or agents.
- Deep technical mastery in some combination of infrastructure-as-code, modern CI/CD systems, and enterprise workflow orchestration.
- Ability to design hybrid architectures that balance agentic-workflow speed with utilization costs and financial efficiency.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and ability to explain complex technical concepts to citizen coders and executives.
