Base Salary
$222k - $342k/yr
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in the scalability, performance, and reliability of Teleport for large deployments.
- Design, develop, test, document, and ship high-quality products using primarily Go.
- Collaborate with Teleport engineering teams on scalability and performance concerns.
- Work directly with customers to diagnose and remediate performance issues.
- Contribute across the full product lifecycle, including customer discovery and technical design through implementation and documentation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Go.
- Extensive experience developing scalable, reliable, and performant distributed systems and platforms.
- Experience with Linux systems engineering.
- Knowledge of Identity Management, RBAC, ABAC, and zero-trust security models.
- Builder mentality and experience developing zero-to-one products.
- Willingness to complete a Go coding challenge as part of the interview process.
- Intellectual curiosity, collaborative working style, transparency, honesty, and a no-ego mindset.
- Significant open-source contributions are a plus.
