Responsibilities

Architect, build, deploy, maintain, and evolve redundant, resilient, scalable, self-sustaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
Design, build, and maintain production Kubernetes infrastructure, including clusters, namespaces, and deployments.
Develop infrastructure-as-code, automation, CI/CD workflows, and operational procedures.
Support infrastructure monitoring and alerting, troubleshooting, logging, compliance, and security practices.
Work independently with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate features and enhancements.
Train and mentor junior DevOps engineers and new team members.

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional DevOps engineering experience and at least 4 years using CI/CD tools.
Hands-on expertise designing AWS cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
Extensive production experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters and Docker container environments.
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK, Kubernetes/EKS or ECS, Rancher, Puppet or Ansible, and scripting languages including Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or JavaScript.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
Strong knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, cloud-native security, and infrastructure compliance.
Effective English communication skills and the ability to work independently or on project teams with limited supervision.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification is preferred.
