Responsibilities
- Translate requirements into scalable and reliable system architectures using systematic design methods such as the C4 model.
- Document architectural decisions and design for critical quality attributes including scalability and reliability.
- Design, configure, and optimize Jenkins controllers, agents, plugins, and configuration-as-code setups.
- Develop complex and scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Shared Libraries and Groovy.
- Apply testing and code-quality practices using Spock and CodeNarc.
- Develop Python tooling using Poetry, Pytest, Pylint, Flake8, and Typer.
- Integrate CI/CD systems with Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, infrastructure APIs, and development tools.
Requirements
- Mastery of architectural design processes, including requirements translation, quality-attribute design, and decision documentation.
- Expert-level knowledge of Jenkins architecture, including controller and agent management, plugins, performance tuning, and JCasC.
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins Shared Libraries and Groovy.
- Deep experience with the modern Python development ecosystem, including Poetry, Pytest, Pylint, Flake8, and Typer.
- Some Linux-based embedded software development experience.
- Understanding of CI/CD platform integration involving Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, and infrastructure-as-code APIs.
- Proficiency with REST API principles and data formats including JSON, YAML, and TOML.
- BE or ME degree in Electronics.
- 8–10 years of experience.
