Base Salary
$92k - $147k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
- Build Java/J2EE and Spring Boot backend applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Develop AI-enabled applications, AI agents, skills, and Model Context Protocol integrations to automate workflows.
- Contribute to software architecture, technical designs, system integrations, and enterprise application ecosystems.
- Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, resiliency, fault tolerance, resource utilization, and high availability.
- Apply secure coding and security-by-design practices and remediate software vulnerabilities and technical risks.
- Troubleshoot production issues and system incidents and support release management and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, developers, security teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficient experience developing backend applications with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
- Experience building and consuming APIs and working with event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of microservice architecture, SQL, and relational data concepts.
- Experience designing scalable software applications and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of software design principles, object-oriented programming, software architecture patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with source control, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and modern development practices.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications and services and working with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and application performance management tools.
- Experience with AI-enabled applications, automation solutions, intelligent services, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
