Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software applications and services throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable software solutions.
- Contribute to software architecture, design patterns, coding standards, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Develop unit, functional, and integration tests and troubleshoot, debug, and refactor existing applications.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, observability, and production readiness.
- Participate in planning, requirements elaboration, estimation, prioritization, and delivery activities with Product and Business stakeholders.
- Use source control, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern software delivery practices.
- Collaborate with engineering peers, share knowledge, support Engineering Guild initiatives, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Experience developing, testing, deploying, and supporting software applications in an enterprise environment.
- Ability to translate requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Understanding of software design principles, architecture concepts, design patterns, data structures, and programming techniques.
- Experience with unit, functional, and integration testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of secure coding and secure software development practices.
- Understanding of performance optimization, scalability, reliability, application monitoring, observability, maintainability, and production support.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern software delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to learn new technologies, tools, and architecture patterns.
