Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support Java/Spring Boot microservices for the Notification Manager platform.
- Implement features, enhancements, defect fixes, and service interactions designed for scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and API tests and participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Contribute to Kafka-based event-driven architectures, service decomposition, resiliency improvements, performance optimization, and cloud-native deployment practices.
- Participate in production support, incident response, root cause analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, and release readiness activities.
- Analyze application performance and improve throughput, latency, scalability, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with Product, TPM, QA, architecture, and partner engineering teams to deliver roadmap commitments.
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing applications with Java and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservice architectures, messaging or event-driven systems, software design principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with source control, code reviews, CI/CD practices, SQL, and relational databases.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, independent execution, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, MQ, cloud platforms, PCF/Tanzu, Kubernetes, containerized workloads, distributed systems, resiliency, fault tolerance, scalability, software architecture, performance optimization, observability tools, automated testing frameworks, PCI or regulatory requirements, and high-volume transaction processing systems.
