Responsibilities
- Define test objectives, strategies, scenarios, and execution plans for complex product and release activities.
- Identify required test environments, equipment, test data, tools, and other testing provisions.
- Coordinate test readiness and completion with functional leaders in line with program schedules, including maintenance and minor releases.
- Report test progress, quality risks, and release readiness to the Test Manager and stakeholders, escalating risks to product stability.
- Strengthen CI/CD practices and expand automation of key tests across products.
- Document defects with clear technical detail and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to investigate, resolve, and verify issues.
- Share testing knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement in a cross-functional Grid Automation team.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience in quality assurance, software testing, or test engineering.
- Strong knowledge of QA best practices, testing methodologies, quality processes, and risk-based testing.
- Hands-on experience with low-level API and integration testing in microservices-based architectures.
- Understanding of microservices testing, message queues, Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed system behavior.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence quality discussions across technical and cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of Python, Robot Framework, Azure DevOps, and PostgreSQL is advantageous.
- Experience with Jira, Helm, test automation frameworks, or CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
