Base Salary
$146k - $306k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and mentorship for scalable, elastic, fault-tolerant distributed systems and data-plane platforms.
- Define scalability, performance, availability, durability, reliability, observability, telemetry, dashboards, and alerting standards.
- Lead incident response, complex issue escalation, root cause analysis, operational readiness, and in-service maintenance strategies.
- Architect security controls, compliance practices, IaC, automation, patching, upgrades, rollbacks, and automated change-management solutions.
- Lead high-impact initiatives involving timelines, deliverables, resources, budgets, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
- Serve as a technical thought leader and mentor, including participation in candidate assessment, interviews, hiring decisions, and talent development.
Requirements
- Deep industry expertise and experience leading architecture for large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in scalability, elasticity, performance optimization, fault tolerance, redundancy, replication, failover, reliability, observability, and incident resolution.
- Experience designing security and compliance controls for multi-tenant environments and enterprise automation strategies.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives, influence cross-functional leaders, solve advanced problems, and serve as an escalation point.
- Knowledge of formal verification techniques such as TLA+ and advanced replication and synchronization strategies.
