Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IAM application solutions using AWS, Azure, Teleport, and Terraform.
- Drive IAM initiatives end-to-end, including requirements definition, architecture, rollout, and operationalization.
- Design scalable access models and role-assignment patterns across AWS, Kubernetes, SaaS applications, and internal systems.
- Operationalize access logging, metrics, SIEM visibility, and repeatable reporting for risky access and drift.
- Design and execute automated user access review processes that meet compliance requirements while improving security signal.
- Identify high-risk permissions and misuse paths, implement mitigations and controls, and drive adoption with partner teams.
- Create procedures, runbooks, and automation to standardize access decisions and reduce dependence on tribal knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing and maintaining IAM products or tools.
- Experience writing production-ready scalable software, infrastructure as code, and reliable automation using AI coding tools.
- Strong knowledge of IAM practices, including least privilege, privilege escalation paths, separation of duties, break-glass access, and auditability.
- Bachelor of Science or higher in computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- US citizenship is preferred.
