Responsibilities
- Design and implement or migrate features in the C#/.NET technology stack.
- Collaborate with technical leads and developers on product development within an Agile Scrum team.
- Develop software that models, analyzes, and optimizes production equipment.
- Implement libraries that communicate with and control oilfield equipment.
- Develop and maintain features in layered architectures and work with message-driven services.
- Use databases, Docker containers, IoT protocols, message queues, and DevOps practices in software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- At least four years of professional experience, including at least three years developing .NET applications.
- Experience with layered architectures such as MVP, MVC, or MVVM.
- Experience with relational database development using SQL Server or similar databases.
- Strong C# programming skills.
- Experience with Docker containers, IoT protocols such as MQTT and AMQP, and message queues such as RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server or Oracle and DevOps.
- Experience with team-based software development and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to learn new domains, skills, and technologies.
- Preferred: experience with MongoDB, InfluxDB, React, and the oil and gas business domain.
