Responsibilities
- Contribute to requirements analysis, software design, coding, testing, quality assurance, and maintenance.
- Design, develop, and test avionics software and related systems for orbital rockets, ground systems, test stands, and lunar landers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across server-side and client-side systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to design solutions supporting vehicle development, testing, and operations.
- Participate in projects involving embedded systems, vehicle or industrial controls, data analysis, DevOps, and software testing.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.
- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
- Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks without concurrently taking coursework.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with passion for the mission and vision.
- Desired experience includes on-premises or cloud infrastructure, AWS, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React, and real-time embedded or control systems.
