Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable applications and APIs using Java and Python.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices, including third-party API and service integrations.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL for data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to define requirements and integrate components.
- Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security best practices for data handling and API authentication.
- Implement and integrate cloud services and APIs, when applicable, for cloud-native solutions and deployments.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing applications and APIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python and associated frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, and Django.
- Strong understanding of REST, GraphQL, and SOAP API architectural styles and experience with Postman and Swagger UI.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Experience with Git and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- U.S. Person status is required, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee.

- The Washington, DC metropolitan area base-pay range is $116,000.00-$154,000.00-$169,400.00 annually; other locations may have different geographic market ranges.
