Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve frontend features, user interfaces, and gameplay experiences for scalable gaming products.
- Translate product and game design requirements into robust technical solutions and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Build clean, maintainable, well-tested software and own technical decisions from design through production.
- Contribute to planning, architecture discussions, retrospectives, code reviews, testing practices, and frontend engineering standards.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, real-time services, and event-driven backend systems.
- Support performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, reliability, observability, and maintainability.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
Requirements
- Strong professional software engineering experience focused on frontend development and production-grade user-facing applications.
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Hands-on experience with WebGL-based rendering and animation frameworks, particularly PixiJS and GSAP.
- Understanding of component-based architecture, clean code, reusable UI patterns, and frontend software design principles.
- Experience building and maintaining responsive, accessible, and performant web applications in production environments.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, browser APIs, state management, and modern frontend build tools.
- Experience integrating applications with REST APIs, real-time services, or event-driven backend systems.
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, pull requests, frontend testing, and modern development workflows.
- Practical experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end frontend testing.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and debugging techniques.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to work independently, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, solve problems, and balance quality, speed, usability, and maintainability.
- Willingness to mentor less experienced engineers and promote strong frontend engineering practices.
- Nice-to-have experience with game development, casino games, virtual sports, betting products, graphics, animation, canvas/WebGL, mobile-first development, responsive design systems, accessibility, or high-availability entertainment systems.
- Nice-to-have experience making architectural and technical decisions for scalable frontend applications and using AI tools critically in software development workflows.
