Responsibilities
- Design and implement deterministic, hermetic build pipelines and a content-addressable artifact registry with provenance capabilities.
- Build dependency graph analysis tooling for blast-radius calculation, selective testing, and safe upgrade planning.
- Own versioned Manifest and Version Set governance, including compatibility verification and promotion through environments.
- Design GitOps-based multi-site deployment orchestration with progressive rollouts, automatic rollback, and site-aware configuration rendering.
- Build internal developer platform workflows for module onboarding, version publishing, production promotion, and deployment visibility.
- Automate compliance evidence generation, SBOMs, audit trails, change records, startup ordering, and disaster-recovery validation.
- Meet stated infrastructure, data-layer, and business-application deployment automation targets.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure toolchain development serving 500+ services or 100+ engineers.
- Hands-on experience designing or operating build systems, dependency graph tooling, version governance systems, and compatibility models.
- Production GitOps deployment experience across multi-cluster or multi-region environments.
- Strong Kubernetes expertise, including custom Controllers, Operators, and CRDs for platform automation.
- Experience with artifact management and software supply-chain security, including content-addressable storage, SLSA attestation, SBOM generation, and artifact signing.
- Preferred experience includes internal developer platforms, large-scale monorepo governance, regulated or financial systems, multi-site SaaS, constraint solvers, and cryptocurrency or fintech infrastructure.
- Nice-to-have toolchain development experience in Rust, Go, or Python; Terraform or Pulumi; OPA or Rego; and China, APAC, or EU data-residency environments.
