Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability, availability, performance, and production SLA compliance of global infrastructure across AWS and Tencent Cloud.
- Operate and govern Kubernetes-based service mesh infrastructure using Envoy and Istio.
- Define and implement SLO, SLI, and error-budget frameworks and drive reliability improvements.
- Develop automation for capacity assessment, auto-scaling, self-healing, change management, monitoring integrations, and Kubernetes API workflows.
- Build and continuously improve SRE platforms for capacity management, cost analysis, and service-health dashboards.
- Advance Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices and optimize release safety and operational efficiency.
- Design and implement chaos-engineering practices to validate fault tolerance.
- Lead capacity planning, performance optimization, architectural improvements, redundancy optimization, and cost reduction.
- Support scaling plans and capacity assurance for major promotions, high-traffic events, and other large-scale business scenarios.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java, or Node.js, with Python or Go preferred.
- Ability to independently deliver end-to-end features from requirements analysis and design through coding, testing, and deployment.
- Backend development experience with RESTful API design and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Strong Shell and Python scripting skills for solving operational issues.
- At least 3 years of SRE or DevOps experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of Linux internals, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Production-level experience managing Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Experience designing monitoring metrics and alerting strategies with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Hands-on experience with automated deployment using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
- Strong problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, cross-team collaboration, ownership, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience building internal operations platforms from scratch with full-stack development skills.
- Preferred familiarity with Istio, service mesh technologies, the Operator pattern, rate limiting, degradation, and circuit breaking.
- Preferred hands-on chaos-engineering experience and practical capacity-planning or FinOps experience.
- Experience in finance, trading systems, high-concurrency environments, or capacity assurance for major promotions is a plus.
