Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, data scientists, data engineers, and platform teams to design and deliver scalable data and AI solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement Generative AI and Agentic AI applications with business stakeholders.
- Operationalize AI/ML models and integrate them into production environments.
- Design and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Improve the scalability, reliability, performance, and production readiness of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
- Provide production support, incident investigation, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution for AI applications, models, and data pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, privacy, regulatory, and enterprise architecture requirements.
- Drive automation, platform modernization, performance optimization, and adoption of emerging AI technologies.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories.
- Mentor and guide team members while promoting engineering best practices and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, MLOps, AI Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python, Spark, and software engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying Generative AI, LLM-based, and Agentic AI applications.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, model development lifecycles, and model deployment practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS, Databricks, modern data platforms, MLOps and DevOps tools, model monitoring, and infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with metadata management and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenAI Codex.
- Knowledge of LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, vector databases, and agent frameworks is highly desirable.
- Web application development experience and insurance or financial services experience are advantageous.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, presentation, collaboration, ownership, and accountability skills.
