Responsibilities
- Design and build core security services such as permissions management and secrets orchestration.
- Enhance CI/CD pipeline with automated self-serve security controls.
- Conduct secure code and architecture reviews and lead threat modeling.
- Build and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure with automated vulnerability detection.
- Run security incident response and support audits.
- Advise teams on security best practices and promote security awareness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on security-focused engineering experience.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Ruby, TypeScript, Python, or C++.
- Experience building scalable security systems in a production environment.
- Experience with threat modeling and security design reviews.
- Ability to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Meticulous attention to detail in security decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to mentor engineers on secure development processes.
- Proactive approach to continuous learning in security trends.
