Responsibilities
- Research and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and object-tracking algorithms using classical, geometrical, and AI-based approaches.
- Fuse camera, IMU, radar, and other sensor data for high-precision target estimation and robust tracking.
- Optimize and embed tracking algorithms on heterogeneous, compute-constrained platforms for real-time drone operation.
- Integrate tracking pipelines with the GNC, Sensor Fusion, and AI teams in a production-ready environment.
- Monitor advances in computer vision, tracking, and sensor fusion and introduce relevant methods into the product.
- Depending on seniority, mentor or manage junior engineers.
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Proven experience researching, developing, and productizing computer vision and sensor-fusion algorithms in hardware-constrained environments.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for real-time systems.
- Experience optimizing code for edge deployment.
