Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of machine learning model development for research and product projects.
- Contribute to product and translational research experiment design and documentation.
- Understand product requirements in a clinical context and propose model design changes.
- Demonstrate mastery of ML methods and uphold best practices for research and product development.
- Support team governance initiatives and maintain documentation standards.
- Identify technical gaps and propose new projects with clear rationale and plans.
- Participate in team process improvements and support hiring and onboarding.
- Support scientific strategy with conference submissions and manuscript preparation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree plus 3-4 years of experience or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Biology, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
- Proficiency in Deep Learning frameworks (Pytorch/Tensorflow) and Python.
- Strong track record in machine learning and computer vision model development.
- Publications or research in AI and biomedical science is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and intellectual curiosity.
