Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing solutions for various software systems.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python in Linux environments.
- Create automated tests for functional, integration, and regression validation.
- Define testing strategies for features and services within product areas.
- Integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate complex test failures and support root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear requirements and validation strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers on automation practices and software engineering techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, test automation, or validation tooling.
- Proficiency in designing automated testing solutions using Python in Linux environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated validation.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Git-based version control and issue tracking systems like Jira.
- Experience in Agile development environments.
