Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Citi’s high-performance, low-latency electronic execution platform.
- Build capabilities for algorithmic trading, smart order routing, client and exchange connectivity, and high-performance market data processing.
- Partner with traders, quantitative researchers, and clients to translate needs into product features and enhancements.
- Improve and maintain testing frameworks, development tools, and environments.
- Contribute to Agile development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery processes.
- Build and maintain solutions for platform monitoring, trade reconciliation, application recovery, and related support functions.
- Collaborate with developers, product development, production support, quality assurance, and global technology teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Java and/or C#.
- Proven experience developing automated trading platforms.
- Python knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of automated testing techniques.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and understand complex concepts in a multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
