Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions and support developers ranging from junior to senior levels.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based payment microservices.
- Create quality code, review peer code, and provide maintenance and support during testing and post-production deployments.
- Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to gather feedback, define requirements, and maintain an accurate work roadmap.
- Serve as a subject matter expert who consults with or leads clients and project teams on development issues.
- Debug production issues and improve long-term system maintainability.
- Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and extensible.
- Participate in scope assessment, risk and cost analysis, and enterprise technology delivery practices.
- Lead development projects and support multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Maintain current technical knowledge and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Graduate or undergraduate degree in Technology.
- 5+ years of extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, DevOps, and Kafka.
- Strong algorithmic problem-solving skills and deep understanding of microservices and Composite API architectures.
- Experience with SOAP, REST, Unix shell scripting, SQL and NoSQL databases, vulnerability scanning tools, log management tools, Git, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Veracode, Sonar, Splunk, Dynatrace, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure, AWS, GCP, JIRA, Confluence, Nexus, and Maven.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, architectural standards, design artifacts, and UML diagrams.
- Experience working on large projects in fast-paced environments and leading development projects with other developers.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deliverables, and produce clear documentation and presentations.
- Experience in the payments domain is preferred.
